Knowledge Mobilization Resources
The KMb Unit has developed the following resources to help researchers plan, develop and implement effective activities to help maximize the impact of their research. Please feel free to reach out the KMb Unit for tailored service support for knowledge mobilization needs.
Clear Language Writing
The following videos are part of a growing series to introduce key concepts and services in knowledge mobilization. They are also part of our overall effort to help connect research to policy or professional practice.
As an inaugural pilot, participants will sign up and participate in an 8-week interactive course. Taught by leading KMb professionals and researchers, participants will learn about theoretical and practical aspects of effective KMb. They will integrate this knowledge within an applied project. The course is scheduled for March 5 to April 23, 2019 and participants need to apply to be enrolled in the course. Click on the button below for more details.
Clear Language Writing and Design
York’s KMb Unit provides leadership in the development of Clear Language Writing and Design. ResearchSnapshots, Infographics and other tools and resources help researchers and their partners clearly communicate their research findings to diverse audiences.
ResearchSnapshots are summaries of single research studies. They summarize the research and the
research findings in simple, straight forward language, and provide contact information for the
researcher. Click here to access the library of ResearchSnapshots which have been developed by the KMb Unit. For more information on
our methodology and preliminary outcomes, please see the following publication.
Infographics visually represent research data and information and is an exciting way to communicate research findings. The KMb Unit has developed a guide for developing Infographics and templates which researchers can use to help build their own research project infographic. Contact us for more information
Knowledge Mobilization Planning
